The singer recently shot the music video for her hit single ‘I wish’. directed by Clarence Peters. The video explores Waje’s deep emotional core with themed scenes never been done before on Nigerian TV.

A few highlights to look out for? Waje the black bride with the funkiest chandeliers you ever saw. There is also Waje, all bare and vulnerable with nothing but her heart to cover her. If you missed Nigerian Idol show this past Saturday and Sunday, you missed two utterly engaging shows. Not only was the comeback queen with nine lives, aka Safeeyat, saved by the judges, the contestants gave the performances of their lives, and, Jesse Jagz was in the building.

It was an off-the-charts weekend for the show, and though the elimination night was definitely a shocker with Safeeyat ousted in a shocking elimination, she was saved by Jeffrey Daniel, Yinka Davies and Femi Kuti, using up the one lifeline of the competition.
